Here are some photos from over the years. Growing up performing with my Dad was an amazing experience for which I’m forever grateful.
Samba de Orfeu
by Luiz Bonfá.
This song is one of the reasons why I wanted to learn to play the guitar when I was six. I’d been listening to Bossa Nova and had seen the film, “Orfeu Negro” (“Black Orpheus”) and the scene with the little boy playing this song to make the sun rise and the kids dancing to the song was magical to me! I’m on vocals and guitar here.
by George Gershwin; lyrics by Ira Gershwin. (A song that I sang many, many times with my dad accompanying me, here I’m on vocals and guitar.)
But Not for Me
by by George Gershwin; lyrics by Ira Gershwin. Another of many Gershwin tunes that my dad taught me. (I’m on vocals and guitar.)
